Welcome to the beginning of my attempt to write a haiku (or other creative piece) every day. As someone who is far from a full time writer, I find it easy to forgo writing when life gets busy. But life will always be busy, there will never be that perfect time for that “personal passion project.” If it is important enough to you, you can carve out the time. All that is to say that me writing a haiku a day is my attempt to make space in my day for poetry, even if in the form of three simple lines. I also find haikus to be great mental, artistic exercises where you must find the most fitting, illustrative words within constraints.

Let’s see what becomes of this little idea 🙂
