To bend with the wind
Means agile humility
That knows its limit.
Inspired by Haiku Horizon’s week 133 prompt Bend and one of my favorite quotes:
“Notice that the stiffest tree is most easily cracked, while the bamboo or willow survives by bending with the wind”
-Bruce Lee
Hope this haiku provoked some contemplation 🙂 Let me know what you think in the comments!
I think the sentiment here is wise and not easily achievable. For some reason it’s admired to stand firm at all times. Bending is a stronger strength sometimes.
